These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Workunlock websites, products, and services operated by Workunlock Limited ("Workunlock", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Account Use

• You must be legally able to enter into binding agreements in your jurisdiction.
• You are responsible for information provided during sign-up, profile setup, and profile updates.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity under your account.
• We may require email verification or other checks before enabling full account access.

2. Social Sign-In and Third-Party Authentication

You may sign in with providers such as LinkedIn, Google, and Facebook. Your use of those providers is also subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party service availability, actions, or policy changes.

3. Profile and Post Content

• You may submit profile/post content, including role details, category/subcategory, skills/keywords, resume links, and optional media.
• You represent that submitted content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe third-party rights.
• You grant Workunlock a non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and distribute submitted content as needed to operate and improve the service.
• We may moderate, restrict, disable, or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

4. Platform Role and Service Scope

• Workunlock provides profile discovery, search, and related interaction tools.
• We do not guarantee interviews, hiring outcomes, revenue, engagement volume, or business results.
• Decisions made by businesses, users, or third parties are outside our control.

5. Communications and Notifications

By using the platform, you agree to receive service-related communications, including account verification emails, password reset emails, profile status updates, and security messages.

6. Payments, Transactions, and Payout Flows

• Browsing candidate profiles, resumes, and interview videos is free.
• Workunlock charges a success fee when a business chooses to hire through our facilitation process. We do not charge recurring subscriptions or mandatory upfront platform fees for profile browsing.
• Each successful hire is billed separately. Multi-hire or agency arrangements may qualify for discounted plans when explicitly agreed.
• If a hire does not work out, Workunlock provides one free replacement within 14 days of hire confirmation.
• If we cannot provide a suitable replacement within that 14-day window, you are eligible for a full refund of the applicable facilitation fee.
• Payment and bank-processing functions may rely on third-party providers (including Paystack). Their processing timelines, validation rules, and failure states apply.
• You are responsible for providing accurate payment and payout information.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Using the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purposes.
• Impersonation, identity misrepresentation, or unauthorized access.
• Uploading malicious code, probing vulnerabilities, or attempting to disrupt service operation.
• Publishing content that is defamatory, infringing, harmful, or otherwise prohibited by law.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe there is a Terms violation, legal risk, security concern, or abuse. You may also stop using the service at any time.

9. Intellectual Property

The Workunlock platform, branding, code, design, and related materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, no license is granted to use our intellectual property without prior written permission.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Workunlock disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Workunlock is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Workunlock and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
